Web of Failure
The valuation of these web 2.0 companies now are ridiculous. Facebook apps like Superwall being appraised at $10million is pretty ridiculous. Exponential growth, viral marketing, no real revenue, no profit? I never heard of that before; that didn’t just happen less than 10 years ago. I sort of remember a person who is known for being wrong all the time saying, well facebook is sort of different, they don’t look like geocities pages and they don’t have spam. I’ve since been wondering what to call these 124 application invites I get daily.

lol to make money you have to have a supply of a finite, scarce resource there is a demand for. there are infinitely many useless facebook apps and infinitely many useless people on facebook. people say advertising will pay for everything but the fact remains that tivo/dvr was invented so you don’t have to watch advertising and the same technologies exist on the web and the ‘facebook generation’ have basically been socialized to not even see ads on the web anyways much like chris abad can’t see numbers under 3 digits.
the greatest problem with society today in the USA is that people don’t understand simple economics (because they’re retards).
