ANSI Closing

Monday, January 28th, 2008

This Thursday-Sunday are the last days for you to come see the ANSI exhibit if you haven’t gotten a chance to do so yet, and then its art history. After that, 20 GOTO 10 is back to business as usual. No more excessive publicity and ridiculously packed openings.

ANSI TIME

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Its ANSI art time this weekend, and we’re putting the final touches on the show so that it will be great for everyone. A lot of work went into this show from a lot of people with various expertise so I’m confident that everyone will really enjoy what we have to show you. I’d like to give a personal thanks to ACCRC for providing us with a bunch of LCD monitors. If you have old computer hardware you dont need, consider bringing it over to them in Berkeley, they can either put it to good use if its functional or break it down and recycle it.

Electronic Musicians?

Monday, December 10th, 2007

Hi. The White-Out Opening went great even despite the rain and my horrible cold. I never think I have the Flu because most of the time people just over-exaggerate their common cold, but after 5 days of being sick I decided to read the actual symptoms of the Flu again as opposed to the common cold, and I guess I had the Flu. It should be gone soon. Good.

Anyways, I’m working a new new project building a small micro-controlled device that is capable of both audio and video for a target manufacturing cost of under $25 and I’m looking for some local electronic musicians who are interested in making some simple music for the things.

Independencia

The opening this past Saturday went really well. Montuso Foundation raised quite a bit of money from the sales of a number of pieces and the donations from the 150 people that attended. Shannon and Joe both took a number of pictures for anyone who missed it.
