With a background in classical piano, Haeyoung Kim has been lately focusing on experimental electronic music. Based in NYC (orgininally from South Korea), she has worked as a composer, sound designer, and audio engineer. Currently, under the name Bubblyfish, Haeyoung creates “lo-fi” 8 bit sound works and minimal electronic compositions.

Jordan Gray (alias starPause or K9D) was running one of the first true netlabels ever - Broke Bunny and continues to run Mp3Death athat has been recognised by VORC and De:Bug for cataloging the sounds of handheld techno and the chip tune avant-garde. starPaus’s own music fits somewhere in between - body concious beats and mind-melting basslines crafted on pocket-sized consumer electronics with scene-built software.

In 1999 Jeremiah Johnson cofounded 8bitpeoples - a collective of artists interested in the audio-visual capabilities of early home computers and video game consoles. During his shows he generally uses a couple of Game Boys and NES consoles hooked up to a QWERTY keyboard, letting him rock out in much the same way a conventional keyboardist would.
